Blog notes

You know how in some films the directors/writers put things in the film that reference other media in order to pay homage? Quentin Tarantino is pretty well known for this and has also, himself, been referenced by other films. A popular example of his homage to films is Uma Thurman's outfit in one of the main fighting scenes of Kill Bill:

Here is the original Bruce Lee outfit:

In the same way, this very blog pays homage to a friend of mine who came up with the "Path to Awesome". Upon learning the name of this blog, he questioned the origin of the name "Path to Awesome". Given that he is a 3L at a significant school of law based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, I am compelled to clarify that I did not intend to use the name of the blog in such a way as to detract from the origin of the "Path to Awesome", but rather to pay homage to him for coming up with such a great idea.

Furthermore, it's worth noting that I really do not like the image in the banner, it is the default image for the TwentyTen WordPress Theme. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the default theme included an image of an individual wandering what appears to a path that leads to an awesome place.

So, just to clarify, I didn't "steal" or "plagiarize" the intellectual property of anyone with whom I may or may not have had a conversation about the "Path to Awesome".
