Day 12: Lourdes to Font-Romeu
The Pyrenees Mountains provide for some extraordinary riding and breathtaking views. Quite honestly, they are a sanctuary for motorcycling.
Sadly, there weren't enough hours in the day to make the planned stop in Andorra. I was really looking forward to seeing some Andorians.
These were taken at a place called Col D'Aspin above a town called Aspin-Aure. Mapified.

In my head I was going to bomb down these roads on Black and Yellow. When I actually got to them and found out that there was no guard rail, I never got out of fourth gear.

This is the road going forward. Roads not yet travelled.

The cows all over the road were hilarous, but the cow pies were not. Don't ask me how, but I managed to avoid all the cow pies while walking around; it wasn't until I left that area that I managed to drag my boot through a jacuzzi of cow crap.

This cow chased the biker behind it around for a while.

This guy was definitely king of the hill. When I went to take his picture he did that foot-scraping-on-the-ground thing like he was going to charge. Also, when another motorcycle passed by him, he started to charge a little.

This simple picture is probably going to remain one of the most memorable moments of this trip. I had to stop somewhere to make a phone call for work, and while I was online, one of my friends asked: "Where are you?", to which I replied: "I don't know."
That resonated deeply... in this world, how does one not know where one is at all times? It actually made me smile, and, ironically, I tweeted about it. This picture is great, because I used the information that it contains to determine my location. If you're bored at work, give it a shot. If you're at home on the computer, stand up, put on your shoes, and do something fun.
