Day 5: St-Vincent-de-Tyrosse to Santurtzi: Spain!
I'm getting a lot of requests for pictures, so here's a view of the Pyrenees mountains from the town of St. Jean De Luz in France:

St. Jean de Luz is a terrible (terribly beautiful) place and you should never go here (unless you want to see a quaint french town with beautiful beaches). Here is a picture that I took from the beach:

Here is a corroborating picture from google image search:

Moving on... there appears to be a direct relationship between the number of days on this trip and the level of difficulty of maintaining this blog.
Heretoforth, I'm going to limit the information that I post in my daily updates and add anecdotes as new posts. We'll see how that works. You guys are going to love Old Man Forever.
Regarding, the fifth day of the trip, I crossed the border between Spain and France a couple of times. The highlight of the day was getting to and riding the base of the Pyrenees mountains. As you may or may not know, while at home, my favorite riding area is the mountains of Marin, because the roads are great for riding a motorcycle, and it turns out that the Pyrenees mountains are on par with those in Marin. More than a few times have I wished that I had some sort of camera mechanism on my helmet that I could operate whilst also in a 60 degree turn on Black and Yellow so that I could share the experience with you.
