Fashion: We Got That
Happy Friday! It looks like the connection issues that have been causing problems over the last couple of days are fixed, so here we go.
I have returned the motorcycle to Omero who was less than apologetic about the tire and oil issues. Bromance over.
While exploring Milan over the last couple of days, it has become obvious how deeply the notions of fashion and style are ingrained in to every day life as part of the culture. As a matter of prudence, I made certain to bring at least one set of clothes that was a little more than casual. This was fortunate, because never have I felt more out of place than walking around Milan in shorts, flip flops, and a t-shirt.
So, today, I unpacked my skinny jeans and tipsy vee, and showed Milan what fashion really is. What's a tipsy vee? Look:

That's right. And you know I photo bombed people all day long with that on.
I noticed you noticing my AC Milan air freshener, and it's time for a confession: my helmet has a bit of an odor to it. It started somewhere on Corsica and continued until I found a washer in Rimini; fortunately, the padding is removable for washing, so I put it in the wash with the rest of my stuff. I've been able to send my laundry out, but didn't send the helmet padding out because it would be very problematic if it didn't come back, so I opted to get the air freshener. The gas station didn't have any regular tree shaped, pine scented air fresheners, but they did have the AC Milan logo in a lovely spicy vanilla scent.
I was ashamed to admit to you, dear reader, that every day I put my head in to a smelly helmet; a Smelmet, if you will.
