Hi Ho Silver and the Lone Stranger

Previously, on GymCharles.com, you were promised 50 percent more.

Once you see the motorcycle upon which this journey will be made, you'll see that this was no empty promise. For the sake of comparison, let's first take a look back at last year's ride.

Some of you will recognize "Black and Yellow", the BMW F800 GS that scooted me around Europe last year.

While making the arrangements for this trip, I requested a similar F800 GS, however Francesco, the owner of the rental company did not have any available. Before disappointment could set in, he offered a BMW R1200 GS at the F800 GS rate. This is a sweet deal, because BMW, in its typically German quest to be efficient, includes the engine displacement in the names of its motorcycles. So, the F800 has an 800 cubic centimeter engine displacement, and the R1200 has a 1200 cubic centimeter engine displacement. You can see now that is 50 percent more fast for free.

Enough with the all the talking, here it s:

It doesn't look like much sitting still in a garage, and in future posts you'll see just what this beast is capable of.
