Rimini
Rimini is nestled on the on the backside of "The Boot" amongst a row of coastal vacation cities just a few kilometers from the Republic of San Marino. Popular amongst Eastern Europeans, the hotel-owned beaches of Rimini are lined with rows of chaise lounge chairs which allow tourists to relax at the edge of the Adriatic Sea. This is my favorite of the private beaches because it reminds me of The Marina:

Arrival in Rimini marked the beginning of two full days off of the motorcycle which were very welcome after the heat of Tuscany and the wet roads from Citta di Castello. On a short visit to Rimini last year, I became familiar with the beach region of the area. The longer trip this time afforded the chance to see the old town section of Rimini. Here are some pictures:
